Fait Accompli was recorded throughout the spring and autumn of 2002. Recorded at the wonderful Castlesound Studios in Pencaitland, Scotland, the recording is of pristine quality. The growth of the band's writing abilities, individual and ensemble playing shines throughout the whole recording and the musical direction that the band is now taking comes to the fore.

SGQ's Fait Accompli is the first album to be released on the Circular Records label and will hopefully show the way forward to the public at large of the many exciting new acts that are in the process of being signed to the label.
